THE FESTIVAL HISTORY...

Pete the Monkey Festival is not just a fantastic family friendly adventure by the French seafront and forest, it is with the intention to raise funds towards and important cause. The Pete the Monkey Festival is fundraising for Communidad Inti Wara Yassi (CIWY), a Bolivian non-profit organisation, enabling the organisation to complete a new wild animal sanctuary, Jacj Cuisi Wild Animal Refuge and Rehabilitation Centre.
Once the festival is over and the costs are covered, all the profit is donated to the
INTI WARA YASSI (CIWY) community in Bolivia.

HOW TO GET THERE ?

To travel from UK we recommend either driving down from Calais, or catching the ferry from Newhaven to Dieppe. DFDS ferry runs three boats a day to Dieppe (4hrs). For ferry foot passengers and cyclists there only a limited number of tickets released for every crossing- so book early! You could also catch a Eurostar into Paris then a local train to Dieppe, the nearest town.

BY TRAIN

Closest train station: Dieppe (around 20km away from the festival site at St Aubin-sur-mer). Dieppe is approximately two-hour train journey from Paris.
