Private Life
Melbourne electro pop duo just released their latest single Lost Boy.
Australian duo Private Life have unveiled their new single Lost Boy.
Intricate and intense, Lost Boy’s smooth, catchy melody moves effortlessly over atmospheric synthesisers, depicting the classic tale of love lost.
The single is an uncomplicatedly cool alt-pop track, that grabs you from the acapella
onset, with haunting lines, low-fi tones and a simple but clean production.
True to Private Life form, it knows how to give and when to hold back.
Comprised of Renee Anderson and Jamie Barlow, the Melbourne two piece have been writing together for several years.
Lost Boy is Private Life’s follow up single acclaimed release Dragon, self-titled
debut EP in 2013 and singles Run Run and Follow The Sun.
Lead singer Renee has leant her voice to New York collective Phantom Posse on their full length release ‘Home’. Released in Jan 2015, ‘Home’ features a wealth of contributors including ILoveMackonnen, Nicholas Nicholas and Phantom Power.
Private Life have drawn the attention of fans and aficionados alike, which has carried them through to sharing the stage with a bevy of tremendous national and
international acts including:
Garbage, Sam Sparrow, Alpine, Sticky Fingers, Gosling, Owl Eyes and
City Calm Down.
Private Life are an electro pop two-piece with a catchy pop sensibility, they've supported iconic 90's band Garbage among other escapades and adventures.I thought you may be into their aesthetic and sound.
