FERNANDO LAGRECA

Fernando Lagreca new album ‘A Thousand Years’ EP

set to release on October 27th via-Beautiful Accident

“I want to sling a stone, a small rock into a pool, see it ripple. I want to shake a tree,

create a small storm...” SD

As announced just a few months ago, the journey started with the EP 'Imperfections Side'

in which Fernando delves into his alibi of imperfections and proposes a closure at the

highest level.

Again in EP format, and on 10 "vinyl, the second release of his brand new label

Beautiful Accident, Lagreca presents a tour of analog sonorities, hedonistic rhythms and

games of intricate arpeggios and timid acid bass lines that round off a cosmic world,

marking the line  that will follow the label in its next releases, made up exclusively of electronic artists who are characterized by presenting their tracks live.

It is precisely in the live shows, where Lagreca moves like fish in the water, with his rusty tools

half way between the analog and the digital, and a great dose of improvisation giving amazing shows, that doubtless have consolidated him in this year as one of the most interesting live performances on the European scene.

Closing the year with this 'A Thousand Years', with his live shows and increasing his artistic progression.

The tracks:

The A side of the vinyl presents a forceful intro, with layers of arpeggios and a particular rhythmic vision in which multi-rhythms and classic 4 x 4 together with some R & B, create the song 'World',

a piece that every listening discovers, as the world itself, with new things.

Along the way we find 'Someone', a song with clear allusion to encounters and misunderstandings, pop and deep house key where the pads and arpeggios that carry the theme and their vowels to think of an optimistic vision, although with a background that is perceived as a game of fate.   Moving on to side B involves diving back into a world plagued with serpentine sequences, labyrinthine structures, the concentric circles we notice as we throw a stone at the lake.

'A Thousand Years' gives a glimpse of all that and much more, it is a subject with weight,

soul of track, remix, to be danced.

The closing, 'Asking You', is a question shaped of low acids and cross arpeggios that alert us

of the unknown, the past that shapes the future, and about the fragile and imperfect we are.
