DELAFAYE
New track ‘She Shook Me’ + announces new EP
Delafaye is pleased to announce his return with the release of new single She Shook Me.
Setting off on a new musical journey, young Delafaye (Moniker of Andrew Shockley) has
emerged from his home studio with a beautiful, dream-like slice of Americana exploring a
past relationship, showcasing another deeply authentic expression of a decorated past
spent in and around his native Louisville, Kentucky.
Described as creating ‘soft sounds that cross the threshold that divides your dream-life from
your waking world’, His debut EP The Hilltop garnered high praise and over a million plays
on Spotify alone, with lead single Time And Money receiving spot plays on Amazing Radio
(UK) and over two months playlist rotation on his local radio station WFPK. Pretty
impressive for an EP recorded by himself in the bedroom of his small Louisville apartment.
This time around Delafaye has broadened his sound even further and is exploring new
musical dimensions, with a new psychedelic edge giving some indication of what is to expect
on his new forthcoming EP, whilst continuing to create relatable and endearing folk songs.
Delafaye continues to carve out his own musical path with his stories of past lives and
pastimes gaining new fans along on the way.
She Shook Me is the first single to be taken from new EP Highlands set for release on July 7 th
through London based record label Street Mission Records (distributed through [PIAS]).
