CLUBZ
CLUBZ presents their new album Destellos
out now at Canada
The Mexican band Clubz returns with Destellos, their first full-length album.
The Monterrey-based duo presents this new project, three years after its last EP Épocas, which opens the doors to the top of Latin soft-pop.
Clubz, formed by Coco Santos and Orlando Fernández, not only experiments with new instruments and ambients, but also makes of Destellos a strong dreaming declaration of maturity.
Throughout the album we found diverse collaborations with feminine artists of the Latin panorama. Cáile, with Buscabulla, is a song made to dance, and Nagano, played by Ela Minus,
is a powerful and epic ballad. Súper Visión is perhaps the most important piece for them, where they show the new ways the group could take, accompanied by Girl Ultra's vocals that give the ideal closure to the trip.
Destellos is the first length of North Mexicans, however, the way it sounds and speak their lyrics, makes clear that they have traveled a great personal and musical path.
The album is available now in digital version and later will be released on vinyl in Mexico
and Europe, and a cassette edition through Buen Día Records (Mexico).
