Share new single "Casa Encantada" taken from upcoming new album
Patio de Luces via Mama Vynila
Patio de Luces, is third album of Black Islands, recorded in El Puerto de Santa María, by the hand of the Mexican Producer Paco Loco. (Australian Blonde, La Iaia, etc). The result is nine new songs with the excellent collaborations of Juano Azagra and Pilar Angulo from All La Glory.
The Indie rock band was born at the beginning of this decade in the mountains of the Catalan Pre Pyrenees under the light of the Mediterranean Ocean.
With their self-titled debut - Black Islands, 2014 , media of Spain, Mexico, France, Ireland, and Australia, describe them as a perfect cocktail of sound connections with bands such as Pavement, Superchunk, The Jesus And Mary Chain and The Cure, songs that flow between sharp guitars and an inflamed voice that sings about what really matters; real universal themes taken from a lucid and very personal perspective.
Their first album takes them on intense year and a half tour. The album gets notoriety, and is published in the US through Wiener Records, (Burger Records). Spanish Media places them in
the national top 30 of the year and the debut album is considered as "one of the best indie rock albums that have been published in the country in a long time.”
The band once again has Santi García from Ultramarinos Costa Brava for their second album Disco Nuevo, (2018, Mama Vynila records) this time in Spanish, reaffirming a sound personality, which reaps great criticism and embarks the band on a long tour of 30 concerts in 2018.
In summer of 2018, the band, in the middle of the presentation tour of ” Disco Nuevo”, decides to bring to life the creative spiral and go to the studioa again at the studio of Paco Loco, recording
their third album Patio de Luces (Mama Vynila, 2019) - and the result is a very ambitious
album, exploring new sounds and with a high lyrical level.
